We had a fantastic day at Greta's last Saturday, with two new faces - welcome Brenda and Catherine! It was a good time as usual with lots of projects underway.
Clockwise from the top: Robyn, Brenda, Sophia, Marilyn, Sel, Claire, Catherine and that empty sewing machine with the telltale two coffee cups is me. :)
Sel was working on a quilt for overseas friends - red, white, and blue and all hourglass blocks. She was churning those out!
Marilyn had a secret project that she cleverly disguised with this gorgeous quilt.
Claire is cutting strips from her honeymoon quilt- she's sending it to be quilted by the master (Angela Walters)!
Sophia was also working on half-square triangles with some fabulous fabric combinations.
Catherine had EPP in the most beautiful pattern - forgive me, I can't recall the name.
Robyn had several bright, loud squares that formed the backing for a game of snakes and ladders.
Brenda's sashiko - isn't it beautiful?
And Robyn's finished piece!
Our next meeting is August 17! Can't wait. It's always a good time. :)
